Instructor Alan.; 2:36:00 PM
Aww man, sorry guys. My laptop spoilt so I didnt blog for quite a long time le. So my blog is sort of like, DEAD. Haha.
For the 5837520428406th time, the Sarawak trip was fantastic, fabulous and freaking fun.
LOL, its not like just another trip for leisure.
Its a trip that actually adds fun into education. I bet everyone learnt something there at S.K Atas as they are really very pure and innocent and naive in a good way.

I guess by now, everyone who went to Sarawak had blogged about their trip and what we did each and everyday so I should just skipped that part and go straight into what I learnt and how I felt. LOL.

I was in the Year 6 group. The students are all 12, same as Singapore's primary 6 students.
However, there was something different in them compared to the S'pore children.
It was this innocence and simplicity.
When it was time for them to introduce themselves, we wanted them to tell the whole class their ambitions too. And I was taken aback.
In S'pore, which twelve-year-old would still have ambitions like teachers, policemen, doctors, nurses and even astronauts ?
Yet, most of the students here have ambitions like this.
And they thirst for knowledge. While we, in S'pore, take going to school for granted.
In S'pore, when we have say, history lessons, most of the time we will put our heads on the tables when we think we are tired and the lesson is too boring.
In S.K Atas, even if the lessons are too dry, even if its really boring, they dont even put their heads on their tables, resting.
Such respect, such discipline.

The 35 of us who went had a special post there. We wasnt called STUDENTS as there are other students. We wasnt called TEACHERS as there are other teachers. And so, we were called INSTRUCTORS. How's that?
Haha. Sorry, but I am still living in self-denial that I am still an instructor.

For 6 full days,
we cheered together.
we laughed together.
we ate together.
we slept together.
we planned for lessons together.
we played blackjack together.
we shopped together.
we got high together.
we became sad together, too.
The Sarawak team had bonded so much, that we had brought our friendships to a brand new height.

I had Zhenlin and JeremyYeo as my roommates.
They were real nice and good guys can ?
And we had super fun times together in the room. Um, sounds wrong.
Haha. Tongkat ali Tarik. Remember, zhenlin ?
LOL.

Really got to know some really great new friends like Atikah, Faz, Beatrice, Huiyun, Keneth and Zhenlin.
And became better friends with peeps like, Jacelyn, Yaode, Jeremy, and Shaojie.
Jacelyn, do you know what is SOCIAL AWARENESS ?
LOL.
I miss the room 104 peeps. I miss the dinner table peeps too.
I miss my pineapple when I do my reflection booklet! (Its okay if you dont get it.)
I miss the HEADHUNTER TRIBE!
Overall, I want the whole trip to last forever, not just 6 days.
And I dont think I will mind staying with the same 34 people forever.
6 days is just too short.
Thats why I am still doing dum-dum-di-di, the frog cheer, the banana cheer everyday.

Dum-dum-di-di-di-di
Dum-dum-di-di-di-di
Dum-dum-di-di-di dum
Di-dum-di-dum-di-dum
Dum-dum-di-di-di-di
Dum-dum-di-di-di-di
Dum-dum-di-di-di-dum
Di-dum-di-dum, BOM BOM BOM BOM
*Go faster and faster till Yaode stop me with his "remote control"
LOL.

P.S. If the entire trip can be taken down as a movie, I would watch it over and over again without getting bored.
P.S.S I am still looking at the time every now and then and wonder what I will be doing if I were still in Sarawak. Aww man.
